This commission was nice because I had a little bit of artistic license to work with.
All that my customer knew is that he wanted a pentacle that was a little heavy, and tough... he breaks a lot of jewelry, that incorporated a crescent moon and a stone.

This is a medium sized pentacle, the left image shows the back.  I am very happy with the back because, if the pentacle flips over, the back side is still interesting to the eye.  The center image shows the front, the hematite looks darker here than in real life and the metal, in all of these images, looks yellow-ish because of the lighting but in real life the sterling silver looks more steel-ish than sterling.  The right picture just shows the pentacle at an angle.  I made the loop very large so that he could put a thick cord through it.

Here's what my client's wife wrote to me, when I wrote to ask them what they thought;
.
"He loves it! You did a beautiful job on it !
We both think it looks great with the hematite in it."
